Returns and cancellations

How to end a rental, what happens to billing, and how equipment pickup works.

<!-- DRAFT: review before publishing -->

Renting means you're never stuck with equipment you no longer need. Here's how ending a rental works.

Requesting a cancellation

Start a cancellation request from your account — open the rental and choose the option to request cancellation — or just contact us. Check your rental agreement for any minimum rental term that applies to your items.

We'll confirm the request and reach out to schedule a pickup.

Equipment pickup

Ending a rental isn't done until we've picked the equipment up:

  • We schedule a pickup window with you, just like a delivery.
  • Our team disconnects and removes the equipment — you don't need to move anything yourself.
  • Please have the unit accessible and reasonably clean for the crew.

What happens to billing

  • Once your pickup is on the calendar, you won't keep getting charged full freight while you wait on the truck — billing is paused until the equipment is collected.
  • When everything has been picked up, your rental is closed and recurring billing stops for good.
  • Your invoice history stays available in your account.

Deposits

If your rental included a deposit, it's settled after pickup according to your rental agreement — typically returned once the equipment comes back in good shape, less anything the agreement allows us to deduct.

Swaps instead of cancellations

Need a bigger washer, not no washer? You can request a swap from your account instead of cancelling — we'll bring the new unit and take the old one in one trip. See Support.
