Setting up an automation you subscribed to, connecting your accounts, and reading what it has done for you.
When you subscribe to one of our automations — like the Google review auto-responder or the lost-lead follow-up — it shows up under Automations in your account. Each one has a short setup, then runs on its own and reports everything it does back to you.
Finishing setup
Open the automation and choose Finish setup. The steps depend on the automation:
- About your business — your name, voice and the details the automation uses in what it writes.
- Connect your accounts — for the review responder, sign in with the Google account that manages your Business Profile and pick the locations to watch. We never see your password; you can disconnect at any time.
- Send from your domain — for the lost-lead follow-up, we send emails from a subdomain of your own domain (for example
leads.yourbusiness.com). Add the two DNS records we show you at your domain provider, then press Verify DNS. Records can take up to an hour to be seen. - Upload your leads — a CSV with at least an email column. We tell you how many rows can be emailed and why any were skipped. You confirm the people on the list agreed to hear from your business.
- Review and switch on — a checklist of anything still missing, then the switch.
Reading the dashboard
- Tiles — the last seven days at a glance (replies posted, emails sent, opened, clicked…), with all-time totals underneath.
- Waiting for your approval — for star ratings you asked us to hold, the drafted reply appears here. Edit it if you like, then Post reply or Dismiss.
- Activity — every single thing the automation did, newest first, with the reply or subject line it used.
- Settings — change anything you entered during setup. Changes apply to the next run.
- Connections & data — reconnect Google, verify or change your sending domain, or replace your lead list.
Pausing, running now, and what "held" means
Pause stops everything until you switch it back on; nothing is lost. Run now checks immediately instead of waiting for the next scheduled run. An item marked Held means the automation was switched off on our side for maintenance — nothing was posted or sent, and it will pick up when it is switched back on.
If your subscription payment fails, the automation goes On hold until the payment goes through, then resumes where it left off.
Unsubscribes and bounces
Every follow-up email carries an unsubscribe link and your postal address. Anyone who unsubscribes, bounces, or marks an email as spam is added to a do-not-contact list for that automation and never emailed again, even if they appear on a future upload.
